SIA Codnity Dev has launched a new internal digital transformation initiative: the development of a project and personnel resource management system that will replace fragmented manual workflows with a unified, data-driven platform. The project is supported by the European Union under the Recovery Fund (NextGenerationEU), administered in Latvia by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA).

About the project

The new system will give Codnity Dev's project managers and leadership a single, real-time view of project profitability, team utilisation, time bookings, leave balances and resource planning. Core functionality includes an interactive dashboard, Gantt-based project management with task dependencies and baseline tracking, automated reporting in PDF and Excel, employee profile management with role-based permissions, an absence and leave register, and API integrations with the company's existing toolchain (ClickUp, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and email calendars).

Goals and expected results

The initiative is designed to:

•  increase operational efficiency by automating manual reporting and planning tasks;

•  improve project profitability through real-time cost and utilisation visibility;

•  standardise resource planning across teams; and

•  reduce administrative overhead currently spent on spreadsheet-based tracking.

The system will also support secure access management with two-factor authentication, full audit logging and GDPR-compliant data handling.
